QuoVadis certificate - Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier

Hi,

We are implementing the QuoVadis certificate for one our vendors from Europe. The certificate store received has a client certificate (public key), intermediary issuing CA and root CA. We imported these certs into our PI system in the following order Root CA, Intermediary and the client cert using x.509

The interface is SOAP and when we try to send the message to vendor, we receive 

Delivery of the message to the application using connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: iaik.security.ssl.SSLCertificateException: Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier

Can someone please advise I am missing anything.

You restarted sap after installing all certificates? this is necessary.

Hi,

Open the QuoVadis certificate in windows and check the certification path. Does it match with the provided CA certificate.

Hi Imtiaz,

The certicate matches the chain.As i mentioned earlier, all 3 certs including the client, intermediary and root CA are installed.
