Dear Experts,
we are on SRM 7EhP1 and we are using sourcing application.
We noticed that if we create a bid with many items/suppliers and publish it, an e-mail is sent to the buyer processing the bid invitation with object “Background processing terminated”.
In SM37 job BBP_PUBLISH is triggered when the buyer publishes the bid invitation or send a supplier response using the surrogate bidding functionality. We checked job properties, but no spool list recipient is configured for the job (if this setting is relevant).
How can we avoid sending these e-mails? Can you advise?
Thanks a lot!
Ci
Hello Ci,
This was a functionality that the number of items being beyond a certain threshold all the processing will happening in background process. Only way to avoid could be to run in foreground. This customizing is done as shown below
SPRO--->SAP Supplier Relationship Management--->SRM Server--->Cross-Application Basic Settings--->Background Processing--->Define Threshold Value for Background Processing
Check what is threshold you have maintained for your BO (BUS2200 in this case) and retest the issue.
Thanks and Regards,
Veera
