Hello every one,

I am facing some applet related loading issues after I have upgraged my MII version from 14.0 SP4 to 14.0 SP5.

Issues:

  1. Warning pop-ups,
  2. Slow loading Workbench or sometimes failure,
  3. Taking ample of time for laoding page with multiple applets.

I am having java 6 update 32. Is there any higher dependancy on java version for sp5?

Pls help in any possible way.

Thanks.

Regards,

Minakshi.

Hi Minakshi Soni,

SAP MII 14.0 is fine when you work in JAVA 7 environment.

I am also facing the same issue, when i updated my JRE 1.6 Update 31 to JRE 1.7 Update 45 its working fine.

For applet issue try to implement SAPUI5 in your MII, it will help you to resolve your applet loading issue.

Refer SAP UI5 from below link:

     https://sapui5.netweaver.ondemand.com/devguide.html

     https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#sapui5

Hope this info will help you, all the best.

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for your reply. It was really helpful.

Waiting for SAP to launch SPC charts as UI5 component for SAP MII.

Hi Minakshi

Java has introduced the warnings for all unsigned applets etc and hence its normal. Applets are also generally much slower now with JAVA updates than earlier. Better is to slowly move to SAP UI5 based charts which are better in performance and UI.

Hi Partha,

Really Sorry for a delay in reply. I am using spc charts which are not yet part of ui5 components. Thats why there is dependency on applets.

Also my applets are loading now with java 7. But warnings and security constraints still persist.

Thanks for your reply.
