That is the first thing you should have noted on Generic Channel Configuration - SAP NetWeaver Gateway - SAP Library under Recommendation. I thought that you were aware and still want to go for GSDO configuration for which you opened this thread.

At what SP level you are? There is OSS note 1616271 - GSDO Group customization missing

but as per note, it is fixed in SP02.

Hi Chandra,

My system is SAP Netweaver 7.4.0 and SP  level 5..,

It has to be available ..,

Actually my requirement is to enable business workflow in sap netweaver gateway ..,

I'm following the below link to configure workflow in gateway system .

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b01f6a02-5464-2e10-bd8b-efa13d7f2...

Is it required to manage gsdo groups for subscription of workflow ...

Ok. as per https://help.sap.com/saphelp_gateway20sp06/helpdata/en/14/b58347c13d476c9b5f25539d189f66/content.htm

Apart from basic configuration settings the Generic Channel configuration activities are listed in the Implementation Guide (IMG) in the system where software component IW_FND is deployed. In the SAP Reference IMG navigate to SAP NetWeaver Gateway Former Development Generic Channel .

it means that IW_FND software component enables generic channel configuration. check if this helps.

Hi Chandra,

As far as the information I have SAP_GWFND is the enough instead of iw_fnd component

yes SAP_GWFND is enough as it includes IW_FND. May be you want to raise OSS message to check why the GSDO config is missing.

I am not sure if this step is required. earlier I wrote one blog and took the reference of
