Non transportable BRF+ to QAS

Hi Gurus,

We have created Non transportable/local object  BRF+  to DEV.

As this is non transportable what is the way to move this to QAS.

We have checked the option of XML import and XML export, but facing some error.

So could any one please suggest the process to be followed

Hi Sriram,

There is copy option available.Create a new  object copying existing one, save it in package and make it cutomizing ,transportable.Package would be SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST

Also you deactivate existing one and include new one in MSMP.

HI Mamoon,

We have total 6 BRF+ rules, which have been used multiple time in MSMP for 13 Access requests.

So, it is very complicated for us to rework and again do the testing for confirmation.

So is there any other process to do this.

We have moved all other configuration to QAS except the BRF+

Hi Sriram,

What is the error you get when you import this in QA as you did in DEV..

As far as  i know, it has to be copied if not imported but let experts put their comment now..

I need to completely change the Rule IDs in the MSMP and even in stages.

Is there any alternate solution for this.

Hi Sriram,

Yes you need to replace existing id with new one in MSMP but I guess not in stages.

Not sure of any alternative. will let u know if it clicks.
