Hi Frzz,

i have created a view in pakage A, and when i tried to move the view to package B using refractor, am getting an error

" REPO.MAINTAIN_NATIVE_PACKAGE privilege is not exist on either A or B.

Does it mean i dont have authorization to move??

And if the view has dependecy, in that case how can i move the view to other packages??/

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Krishna.

Hi Krishna,

Yes, it means that you do not have authorization to create the model in Package B. You are missing the package privilege i.e REPO.MAINTAIN_NATIVE_PACKAGE

Hi Krishna,

Thanks for the quick response.

If the view which i want to move has been used in other views, in that case how can we move the view to other packages, as there is dependency on it.

Do we need to move the dependent views also???

Best Regards,

Krishna.

Refactor should help there.. it is similar to cut and paste so the dependent views should be fine after they are redeployed.

You can check it once on any view to reconfirm.

Ok Krishna. I will check it once i get the auth.

As you said "dependent views should be fine after they are redeployed", when i redeploy the dependent views, it looks for the view in same package right??? In that case the views is no more available in the package. Correct me if am wrong.
