Arriving at Multiplication Result from 2 Numeric Report Fields

Hi!

I am getting the following pop-up message when attempting to arrive at the multiplication result of the following 2 report fields with the below formulaic approach:

{tbl_Quantity Ordered} * {tbl_Cost per Unit Ordered}

'The result of selection formula must be boolean'.  When I, quite obviously, need a numeric result.  Let me know if you can help!  Thanks.

Hi Eric,

Make sure you're not using this code in the Record Selection Formula, Group Selection Formula or the conditional suppression formulae.

Go to the Field Explorer > Click 'New' > Past the code in the Formula Editor > Save > Drag and drop the formula on the report.
