Optimizer RFC error

Hi,

I have installed gateway and SCM 7.0 ehp3 optimizer.

While testing RFC connection in SCM system, I get "CPIC-CALL, ThSAPOCMNIT; cmRC=20 thRc=2

No storage allocation available error

At the optimizer gateway I can see the error " secinfo denied : user = abc ,USER-HOST = hostname , HOST= hostname, TP= exec file path

How to resolve this issue..what has to be done with secinfo in the SCM system exactly or it has to be corrected in the optimizer?

I will appreciate your help and guidance

Thanks in advance

Adding on the above, would like to add the below,

Gateway Security: reginfo, secinfo, gw/acl_mode... | SCN

, just for your information, hope you know that, if the issue is solved, for closing the thread, you mark as correct answers or Helpful answers(then select Mark as assumed answered). Closing a discussion thread would help other SCN user not to come by this issue-solved discussion & ultimately will result in many people time-saving. Anyways if in future if any other issue then, you can always go ahead & try to create a new discussion thread.

Thanks,

first check if this is caused by ACL,

easiest way is to disable it entirely by changing gw/acl_mode in parameter profile (RZ11)

if it is confirmed(error caused by ACL), modify the ACL to allow connection.

check Note 1069911 - GW: Changes to the ACL list of the gateway (reginfo)

then enable the ACL again.

Hi Henry,

Had changed ACL value from 1 to 0 in RZ11 and checked again but it didn't work...A quite challenging issue.

Note : System was not restarted.

Thanks in advance

no need to restart.

secinfo denied : user = abc ,USER-HOST = hostname , HOST= hostname, TP= exec file path --> still appeared after acl mode disabled?

Parameter : gw/acl_mode

This parameter defines the behavior of the gateway if an ACL file

gw/sec_info or gw/reg_info  does not exist.

Have you checked both location?

Hi

Have you check the SAP Note  1305851 - Overview note: reg_info and sec_info  ?

What I mean was both files should not exist.

SMGW -> goto ->expert functions -> external security -> read again

SMGW -> goto ->expert functions -> external security -> display(sec info)

SMGW -> goto ->expert functions -> external security -> display(reg info)

both file should have line like below

# file /location......./secinfo not found, use internal default

if files exists then rename existing files and do read again

after read, change parameter gw/acl_mode to zero

try firing connection to this host again.

if still failed. please attach log

SMGW -> goto -> trace -> gateway -> display file

disabling ACL=0 in the gateway, resolved the issue.

Thanks for your contribution

Good to hear. This is just to pinpoint the error cause. As I have posted in previous post, after verifying the cause, you have to maintain the ACL until it worked.

I faced this type of issue mostly in TCP/IP type RFC connections and solution is to Re-Read the gateway security files by Re-Read Global and Re-Read ACl Global in both source and target system (if SAP GW available in target system)

Hi Daniel,

The error you got is related to secinfo file configuration, and it's described on Note:

#2132535 - RFC Destination fails “No storage allocation available”

This note also provides a video, explaining how this file should be configured.
