whats the use of time horizn in dynamic credit check. in ova8.

pls reply with one example.

Hi

Suppose you have a order with requested delivery date lying after 2 months, would you like to carry out check out. You might not. In this case, if you specify that credit horizon as 1 month, system will not block orders for which deliveries are happening after one month.

HI asif,

credit horizon is usually used for checking the credit limits for a given time lines .

for example;if customer 10000 has 2 months horizontal and in your credit limit master fd32 if you maintain two months from 010306 to310406 system will check for these time lines and his credit limit within this period.

it is mostly used for all bad payers in any orgs.

Hi Asif,

Credit horizon will check the credit limit of a customer only for that period which u have mentioned in the Horizon period.

Eg if u mentioned 2month, system will check credit limit of the customer for that two month, (if it started from 1st april) that is April and May, This will not consider any open item which purchased by the customer before april or after may..
