solution manager 4.0and Netweaver 2004s - same "SAP system ID???

Hi,

Can we install <b>solution manager 4.0</b> and <b>Netweaver 2004s</b> on same <b><u>AIX</u></b> machine with same <b>"SAP system ID"</b> ?

Solution Manager 4.0 is based on Netweaver 2004s platform.

Why do you want to install Netweaver 2004s & Solution manager ?

While installing Netweaver 2004s on AIX , it asks for "solution manager key".

For generating this key, I need to install solution manager as well.

yes, in NetWeaver platform you have to install Solution manager without this you can not continue your other system installations because they requried solution manager key, could you please install solution manger and generate the key? in your sceniro you can install in same server but with different SID/SYNO.
