i a senerio we are dealing with sender side http like http to jdbc
what case we go for http,why dont we go for file to jdbc (bec my data type in http and file is of same structure)
i have a little knowledge that in case if we want to use web service we will go to http.
is this olny reason or is there any strong reason that moves to http.
did any body know plz reply for my question

Http Adapter mainly used to connect remote servers ie JDEDWARDS or Siebel server....etc
If you want to test your scenario Use HTTP test tool.It internally forms a URL and basing on that your XML messages hits directly the Integration Engine.

Hi,
The Http Adapter resides on IS - Integrtion Engine, So we dont need the sender side Adaper, if sender side adapter is not requied then we dont need the comminication channel
