hi
time series ..wat does it actually mean? my understanding is -those key figures quantities may undergo changes in values with respect to time .like quantities may change for every run that we call those key figures as time series i guess .and order series carries the same meaning but for order quantities ..but wat is the correlation between time series and order series and where it is made use of in the context of planning for requirements/demand.??
would you please tell me the science behind it. or can u point out any document ?

Also, it might be useful to read a basic introduction to APO in books like "SAP SCM: Applications and Modeling for Supply Chain Management" By Dan Wood or "Supply Chain Management with SAP APO" By Jörg Thomas Dickersbach.
There are free previews of these books on Google Books, but I think its worth buying or borrowing these books if you want to get a better understanding of APO.
