Hi,

I have enroll a device with tinyURL code when The client ask for an user credentials, I have set my domain user and all works fine. After that, I have entered to the self-service portal, with the domain user that i have used when I enrolled my device previously, and I can not see enrolled device on my devices section. My question is: The devices listed on the self service portal, are only the one that I have enroll through this portal with the code generated on this component? or Can I see there, any devices link to the domain user even if I enroll the device using TinyURL and not SSP?

In order for the device to show up for a self-service portal user you need to have the "SelfServiceUserName" field poplulated in A_IPHONE_DEVICE table.

This will happen if you enroll a device using the SSP or if you manually or by a database trigger copies the values from either "UserName" or "AssignmentsUserName" into the "SelfServiceUserName" field.

I guess we have too many usernames 😞
