hi
Time buckets
Time series
Order series
Storage bucket
Time bucket profile
Key figure
Demand planning data
In what way it is related to each other ,comprehending The relationship between the above said is confusing to me but Understanding the interrelationship between all the above is vital to move ahead.here goes my scenario,
Scenario:
The customer has given an order of 800 pieces for december month ,300 for january,700 for february (customer demand ) ,I have with me 11 machines and stock of 50 pieces ( product is same but one is chromium treated ,product B,aluminium alloy and product 3 something else i dont know but structurally all 3 products are same
Material does not have sub assemblies and only one BOM item which is a NUT ,and 3 operations
Machine 1,2,3,4 : works 5 hours/shift with breaks in between for
Machine 5,6,7,8, works 8 hours ( 1 shift) continuously
Machine 9,10,11 works 6 hours and 2 hour break
minimum stock of 50 has to be kept at any given point of time it is mandatory.
I know is RES01 I need to fix time buckets and machine details I am using single mixed resources
In TR 30 storage bucket profile -I declare 1 year as a staying period in planning area.
In RSA1 I create key figure for stock
Now my objective is to run SNP heuristic to create a planning sheet,-my users want that in SNP94 you have location, multilevel planning, network labels -I have skiped the remaining two and am going to use location heuristic alone.
How do I MAP this scenario in APO ,but take note I am not using ECC at all and no CIF ing transfer of master datas occur.imaigine there is no ECC at all
Please help me in getting an understanding in Mapping practically on the system .those theory in help.sap.com is not helping me it appears to me like building castle in the air , it is only adding to the confusion-.with all the above said data I need to make a production planning run.
From your practical experience please help me out via screens, because I feel help.sap.com is for bookish people designed for managers and not for SAP hands on labor like me
kiran and other planning specialist can you please provide a roof top view of how would i proceed with the above scenario...it should be lengthy and boring..but still if you can give a road map for the above said scenario in few words..i will pick up from that point by making references here and there
