Problem with FTPS

Hi all,

I have a File (SAP) to File (SAP) scenario. Now, i process my message with FTP protocol but i need to process with FTPS (SSL/TLS) .

Basis & Linux team tell me that It is neccesary add an exception into our firewall to permit the secure conexion.

On the order hand, they said me that i need a user with secure access role on the target System.

Is it ok?

I have understood that FTPS used FTP protocol but with secure layer and  only needed to import a entry in my Keystore.

-- Yes you are correct , you nees a user with secure access

I have understood that FTPS used FTP protocol but with secure layer and  only needed to import a entry in my Keystore.

--Basis/unix admin team need to do the secure configuration/Maintain DNS entry and certificate in keystore.

Then from PI team, I  only could import certificate in Keystore.

The other actions should be done by Unix/Basis team, no?

All your links refer to SFTP except the first and in my case i need to know about FTPS.

What i need to configure my channel with FTPS? Only comunication channel configuration or i need something more?
