REST Support for SMP 3.0

Hi All,

        Can we use the standard REST based application to get or post values to the backed System through SMP 3.0?

I have struck with this question because when go through the REST based application development help guide, I could not find any examples where it shows updating the backend system records. For time being let us assume my backend is an OData.

Can any one help me in getting this clarified.

Hi Arun,

Yes it is confirmed from SAP that you can use REST based applicaion through SMP3.0. Also you can use OData services configured through SMP3.0 to get or update records in backend system.
