customer faced problems while importing transports, while investigation we found tp is hanging & DB01 many exclusive lock in "wait" state.
later we found there is a ".loc" file under /usr/sap/trans/tmp directory related to SID.
hence we moved the file & transports are started functioning again,
Now i wanted to know the possibility of avoiding the same problems in future,
1. why the transports created ".loc" file?
2. how we can prevent in future?
3. what are the reason for DB01 execucive lock waits?
