No data in datapreview

Hi All,

I have created an analytic view using a table. Am able to see data in the table. But when i see the data preview of the analytic view i couldnot see any data.

Please suugest.

Did you check if the view Default Client is set to 'Session Client' and if the user you are using has set correct session client (Security -> <User> -> Session client field?

This may be one of the reasons why you may be seeing this problem.

Hi sagar,

Thank you. We have selected the Default Client as Dynamic which was not supporting here. When i changed to cross client am able to prview the data.

Hi Krishna,

Did you have any joins in the analytic view? Did you check them?

Are you facing any error or it is just no data ?

No joins. Simply i used the table. Do i need any schema level access to be assigned to _SYS_REPO???

Hi Krishna,

If authorization is the issue then it would be throwing the error.

Did you check all the required auhoriazations are given to the _SYS_REPO.

There could be different reasons

please try this

Take SQL statement from data preview log and execute the statement from SQL console.

1). assume you are RAW data tab and no data showed up

2). click show log to view sql statement
