Safety Stock

Dear Gurus

there is a one requirement from customer

the scenario is the safety stock is not allowing to pick the material for billing. the customer is unable to pick the material because

safety stock is blocking the material 

so they want a option that allow them to pick the material even if the stock is below safety level also

is it possible if Yes How what setting we need to and where.

I have one question for you. Is your material IM or WM managed? If you have answer for this, then refer following post:

Although discussion is based on STO scenario, but you can refer that for your understanding on Safety Stock.

material is IM managed, and it is not a STO process its sales Order only

In OVZ9, you have the option to check the box for Safety Stock.  Select that box and retry the process.  But I feel, there is no point in maintaining safety stock if you set this box checked.
