Hi,
this week we had problem with a device space.
This problem causes errors with the workflows for our ARs.
I am an Administrator and try to cancel some requests which cannot be edit anymore.
If I try it via UI: Search Access Request -> Cancel Instance
But I cannot cancel come AR.
I get following message:
"Approval request &12345& is currently being edit by user &my user&.
Error while trying to cancel msmp instance."
But I am not editing the AR.
I have checked the diskussion in this community and some of the discussion say to open "Configuration -> Adminstration".
Is this the right place?
I did not find it.
Is it in the UI or GUI (SPRO).
If it is in the UI, which role do I need to see it there.
Can some help me with the problem?
BR
Melanie
Hi Melanie,
strange situation. Alternatively you can try to cancel the msmp instance directly in the grc system with program GRFNMW_MANUAL_INSTANCE_CANCEL (start via SA38).
Let me know if it works.

Hi,
Please try with SM12 or closing the session and reopening it.
Still if you are facing then Execute the Program GRFNMW_MANUAL_INSTANCE_CANCEL to Cancel/Abort the request.
