Freight Booking for "Air" mode

Hi SAP Experts,

We have a sales order Based Transportation Requirement scenario integrated (OBTR) for Air transport. The mode of transport is communicated to freight forwarder and their person picked up the consignment from plant. the consignment is delivered at customer location (i.e; my customer is not concerned about the airport where the consignment will be loaded or unloaded), in another words I can say it's a door to door delivery.

My customer want to create a freight booking as it is required for various reasons, but when I go to FB creation we have loading/unloading airport mandatory. Can you suggest, how I can make a FB for Air mode without having airport mandatory.

Hi Manish,

In standard it is not possible. You can implement a small custom code which will remove the unwanted stages from the Air Freight Booking using Save Strategy in Freight Booking.
