Daer All,
I tried a LUMIRA geographic hierarchy. I worked nicely for USA and some other countires but did not work for Japan or Chine.
Internal repository seems lacking values for regional/subregional location names for these country.
I used free edition for LUMIRA desktop.
If anybody has the same problem with the geograhic hierarchy and solved the issue, could you share with me the solution?
Thank you very much for your help and advice.
Best Regards.

Hello,
You can get the geographical coordinates from the google and use it as explained below. If you are looking for Geospatial Analytics for your enterprise then you should integrated ESRI mapping solution with SAP Lumira. More information in

Geographical hierarchy using latitude and longitude coordinates:
3. Select “What’s here?”
4. You can now get the co-ordinates for the city as shown below
5. Create columns “ Latitude” and “Logitude” . Enter the geographical coordinates data in the respective columns as shown below.
City | Latitude | Longitude | Population |
Zelzate | 51.19827 | 3.812407 | 50000 |
6. Acquire the dataset in SAP Lumira and go to Visualize tab. Select the options icon in the dimension “City” and create a geographical hierarchy by latitude and longitude.
7. Select the columns latitude and longitude for their respective coordinates and choose next
8. Now you must be able to see your city with proper geographical coordinates
