Dear all,
we have an external service provider determing the SAP UserIDs for our employees.
This means we cannot use LDAP or HR source to determine the SAP UserID for a new user in SAP into the GRC access request form. It has to be a manual step in the GRC AC New Account workflow.
So we were thinking of specifying a request type for end users wanting to request new SAP UserIDs. This request would be routed to the external service provider for determing the SAP UserID finally.
As end users have to specify due to EUP pre-customizing that the SAP UserID is mandatory they would enter a dummy ID during access request creation first.
The external service provider would then in the next stage determine the final SAP UserID and
1. replace the dummy ID by the correctly determined SAP UserID
or
2. create a new access request form for the original request having the correct SAP UserID and reject the original request.
We would like to user option 1 - do you think it´s possible to replace the UserID during the approval stages of a access request and provision this request in the end?
Many thanks!
Regards,
Markus
UserID is primary key of any AR so no later change is possible
