Fiori Leave Request: Dropdown 'Leave Type' no data

Former Member

Hi

I'm trying to configure the SAP Fiori 'Leave Request' app on our system, but I have ran into a problem.

I'm able to view my leave overview and my history, but when I go to 'Request Leave', the dropdown list stays empty.

I always receive the message 'No data', also the elements for 'used' and 'available' leave keep on loading (spinning).

Am I missing something in customizing for my user?

In my browser console I receive following errors:

  1. Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'AbsenceTypeName' of undefined S4.controller.js:964
  2. Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'setSelected' of undefined ListBase.js:33

The arrays for my leavetypes are always empty, but I cannot find where I can set the is up.

Can anyone point my in the right direction?

Did you activate the odata service in sicf?

sap/opu/odata/GBHCM/LEAVEREQUEST

Otherwise check the help docs and verify roles, notes, ect...

Yes, my oData service is up & runnning but for some reason '***.com/sap/opu/odata/GBHCM/LEAVEREQUEST;v=2/AbsenceTypeCollection' remains empty.

If I book an absence using PA30, I'm able to view this in the fiori app in the 'History' tab off the application, but when I want to change that, I get no data in the actual 'Request Leave' tab..

*Edit* In the error log I find the following error:

Hi Pieter,

Please check the support package level.

+ UIX01HCM SP02

+ GBHCM002 SP12

If you still get database lock error, please check cache setting.

Hi Massa

I checked both:

Concerning the DB locks:

The cache was deactived as I'm on a development system, I activated it for now, the error is gone, but I still receive no data.

Pieter

Hi Pieter,

You use old architecture UI components which were released 1 year ago. Please use new UI component.

Hi Massa

Thanks.

I had searched for the new ones before, but was unable to find the download for this.

*edit*

Just noticed I took a screenshot of the wrong component, but same thing applies for Fiori ERP Applications X1.

Our BC team is looking into it to install the correct component

Hi Pieter,

You may need to contact the ramp up owner to gain access to the download.

Hi Massa

Our BC Team has installed the required package UIX01HCM SP02, so that's done.

Do I need to configure something differently now?

As I read your documents, the launchpad link has now changed, but we don't use that (for now).
When I access the Fiori Leave Request, the previous issues still remain.

Am I missing something else?

Kind regards

Pieter
