SAP CRM connectivity

Former Member

Hi All,

I'm using BO 4.1 SP 2. By using IDT I was able to create a Relational connection to SAP CRM system using Jco (Java Connector). When i created the Data Foundation on top of that, i was not able to see the SAP CRM tables. It says Tables (0) and Joins (0). Is there any additional step that i need to do?

My requirement is i need to report using custom table that is created in SAP CRM.

I was under the impression we can directly connect to/ visible to SAP ECC or CRM and do reporting on top of that. Is there any other way to achieve my requirement?

Regards,

DTD

Hi

You can use relation connection to connect the SAP ERP Systems.

And to access the SAP ERP We can now use the Universe on top of SAP ERP Supported data sources.

–Classic InfoSets

–ABAP Functions

–ABAP Queries

So you need to include your custom tables in any of the supported data source according to your requirements and then able to see the tables related fields.

Please refer below steps for more info.

Hi,

Just follow the instruction to create Infoset in ERP side.

Then you just have to import that Infoset to the DF layer. it is very simple. just give it a try.
