Planning book data not updating LiveCache

Former Member

Hi all,

I am copying data from one key figure of a Data View to another Key figure of different data view under same planning book.

A BADI Macro was created (BADI Definition: /SAPAPO/ADV) and it is working successfully by changing the values.

But the issue is when I refresh the data view, the new data of the target data view is getting replaced by old values.

My understanding is, it is not updating the LiveCache with new data.

Can anyone suggest a way out for this issue?

Thanks and Regards

Hi, you must perform a save action after macro run.

Hi Ada Lv,

Thanks for the reply.

But the SAVE option is grayed out for this Data View.

Do we have any other option other than pressing SAVE button?

Thanks and Regards

Hi Hareesh,

Maybe you need to switch to change mode to perform a save. Except for pushing save button, running the macro in background job will also do the same (saving macro result to liveCache).

Best Regards,
Ada

Hi Hareesh,

Seems your data is not saved. It does not seem to be a consistency issue. You can try again by going in to the edit mode, run the macro and save the result.

Hope this helps.
