Hi all,
Since our upgrade to SAP ECC 6 EHP 7, we encounter several issues with our NWBC 4.0
We use SAPgui 7.30 patch 9 and
NWBC 4.0 patch 13
When going to a screen inside the NWBC where it usually loads several KPI's , the screen now stays blank, enad we get the error message in the top of the screen:
The Flash control is not responding. Possibly the Java plug-in of the browser is deactivated or not installed.
Hence that we did not change anything on our frontends regarding Java versions etc.
All users are experiencing this at the moment.
I tried deinstalling Java 7 sp 55, and went back to Java 7 patch 9 without succes.
Java scripting is still enabled in the browser (IE 11), en the flash pluging is also enabled.
Any ideas on where to look for the solution ?
Best regards,
Menno

Hi Lars,
thank you for our reply,
unfortunately the services are already active on our system.
In our case, this is not the issue.
SAP has responded some time ago with the following:
"the flash file required by the application does not extist on your system."
I have asked them which flash file is meant by this, as flash is installed on the server, and in my browser. But again unfortunately, SAP does not respond anymore to my OSS message that has been open for 8 months or so now...
Best regards,
Menno
Hi!
I had this problem a while ago, and apparently flash player wasn't installed on Netweaver server side.
That was what my basis team said when i submited the problem to them. After that, the flash that wasn't responding started work again.
Hope that could help.
Best regards,
Rodolfo
