can not start SAP after kernel upgrade

Dear Experts,
We upgraded our development system kernel from current system i.e level 333 to the higher level 500 and even 600, however there's always error message when trying to start the system as follows:

The error always occurred everytime we upgrade the kernel to the higher level as we do not have problem in QAS system.

We only revert back to level 333 and the problem is gone, please advise to resolve it.

Hi Rudi,
Post kernel upgrade, can you follow below steps to check where the fault exactly happens
1) Check updated kernel version using disp+work -V
2) Check connection to database is working using R3trans -d
3) Execute start of application using startsap r3 <hostname>
4) Check start of disp+work processes on OS level using ps -eaf | grep dw

Hi Rudi,
What i found seeing you error log is.
The path which you are trying to upgrade kernel doesn't have full permissions or do not have proper admin group.
1. Try changing upgrading kernel from oracle home directory.
2. As you said its working fine in quality system try copying the same kernel files

Are you using unicode or non-unicode kernel ?
If the system is unicode make sure you are using unicode kernel.
