How to remove negative stock from storage type 914

Hi,

There is negative WM stock in storage type 914. Now we want to remove this stock from 914 St. type.

We are using production planning and warehouse management integrated system.

What is the correct method for removing this negative stock without affecting stock change in inventory management.

Can we do it manual transfer posting from St. type 914 to other stoarge type. If yes then which movment type shall be use.

In future how can we avoid this. Please explain.

Hi Ranjeet,

From above screen shot I can see you have negative stock.

Please check physical stock in your wh for that mat.

Then check LX02 for same mat across storage type,

then check MMBE/MB52 and if there is a difference then need to do PI.

If there is no difference then from LX02 you can find actual place where stock is located and where is disturbances.

Take your decision and go forward.

At all time you need to check no open TO should be present for that MAT.

Hello,

Go to LL01 Warehouse Monitor and redetermine the data. Then clear all the open Transfer Requirements and Posting changes. That should clear most of your Negative stocks. If you still find. Carry out physical inventory for those components then, Do bin-to-bin transfers for adjustments. If you still end up with negative stocks, then clear those using LI21.

The second reason for you ending negative stock in 914 area might be,

1 you may not have created control cycles for all the components.

2 You might have missed activating WM-PP Interface fully.

Some material not maintained in control cycles.

But how to remove stock from 914 with inventory diff posting. All transfer order posting complted.

You can find Open Transfer Requirements in LB10. If you process those Transfer Requirements, then the stock will be get cleared.
