How to create SCA Backup

Hi experts,

I need to backup the Software Components in a DC.

What I know is that when I sync the sources of a Software Component, it is saved in my .dtc folder.

Is this correct? This is the first time I would need to do this so I am not sure if it is correct.

Thanks for the help!

Vey

Hi Siddhant, Jun,

The landscape wherein the DC's are is going to be decommissioned.

So my task is to back these DC/SC up so that we could import them again to another landscape...

Hope this clears the situation out.

Thanks!!

that is basis job. they have to replicate the dtr

if you just need the latest code , just export the sca from CMS, which will generate sca containing the latest code

You can also replicate one NWDI DTR to another to retain the history.

What do you mean by : "I need to backup the Software Components in a DC" ?

You can back up DCs from the CMS directly (Development Infrastructure).

In CBS/CMS you can back the SC directly.
