Backup tape initialization error

Dear Experts.

I have exicuted tx. DB13 to schedule the backup, while i initiaile the tape i got the error below, also find the log file attached.

BR0301E SQL error -1031 at location BrInitOraCreate-2, SQL statement:

'CONNECT / AT PROF_CONN IN SYSOPER MODE'

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

BR0303E Determination of Oracle version failed

BR0206I End of backup volume initialization

BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2014-05-22 17.31.08

BR0054I BRBACKUP terminated with errors

Gurus please help.

Hi Mohd,

Please refer point 3 from SAP note

Note 776505 - BR*Tools fail with ORA-01017 / ORA-01031 on Linux
