Hi friends,
I registered the standard RMPSAMPLEFLIGHT service in my locally installed SMP Server's Integration Gateway.
Now when I click on 'Service Document' it opens the link in a new tab, and asks for authentication.
It opened http://localhost:8080/gateway/odata/IWBEP/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT_2;v=1
I see that, neither my SMP credentials nor my Backend credentials are taken. What am I missing?
regards
Krishna
Hi Krishna,
Create a Security Profile in the <host>:<port>/Admin -> SETTINGS tab. Here while creating a new security profile make sure that the profile name in the service namespace name. In this case IWBEP. and the authentication provider is to be set as "NO AUTHENTICATION CHALLENGE".
Once it is created, try to open the service document, it should work,
Thanks & Regards,
Mohan

Hi Krishna,
To add to it, we need to create a security profile for thr namespace "sap" for custom services. The following link would be helpful to you.

Can you share how exactly you did register it? You meant to say creating an application id in management cockpit? Isnt it?

Hi Jitendra,
I went to Integration Gateway using https://localhost:8083/gateway/cockpit
Here I added my Backend System under 'Destinations'.
Then went to 'Services' and then registered a new service using 'Register a Service' and the destination I created in previous step.
It was successful and the service was listed under 'Registered Services'. When I click on this service it opens a window and provided me a service document link. When I access this, it asks for authentication, but both my backend as well as SMP credentials do not work.
