Direct procurement in classic scenario.

Dear experts,

Do you know Direct procurement in classic scenario.

I heard even it is classic scenario, but for the direct material, the PO will be created in SRM first then transfer to ECC, is that right?

Hayashi,

Direct Material Procurement is now possible even in CLASSIC scenario after EHP2.

Refer the customizing switch SRM_702_DIRECT_MATERIAL.

Hi Hayashi, in classic scenario the PO is created directly in ERP, it means that no PO document is created in SRM related to PO, but the creation is triggered from SRM event.

This behavior occurs even if it is direct material scenario.
