Partial stock transfer Unrestricted to In-quality Inspection - SAP QM

Dear Seniors,

Scenario :-

My user has done a GRN of 1200 qty in one line item.

Stock is now available in InQuality Inspection.

Result Recording & usage Decision also done.

Now the stock appear in Unrestricted.

User has issued 600 qty from unrestricted stock for consumption.

Now user wants to Return rest 600 Qty to Vendor which is in Unrestricted.

User is performing Migo - > Return Delivery.

System giving Error of Deficit.

As per scenario in our ORG., is till entire Stock does appear back into UNRESTRICTED , i am not able to cancel the INSPECTION LOT.

Please suggest how can i perform to push 600 qty back to In Quality Inspection.., without bringing Issued / consumed stock back to Unrestricted.

Request to guide. I am new to SAP QM.

Hi Kushal,

You might need to

1. Cancel the document through which 600 were issued for consumption.

2. Cancel the UD through program RQEVAC50

3. Now you should be able to cancel the lot.

4. Return 600 to vendor, Create lot for 600, make UD and issue for consumption.

I am doing the same thing .,

But my system is not allowing till i don't bring the rest consumed stock to Unrestricted.

My point no1 is intended to bring that back. I am suggesting to cancel Material document through MBST

Hello Kushal,

Are you selecting Stock type as "Unrestricted Use" ??  by default system may consider Blocked or quality inspection and can throw error of deficit.
