Change instance status

Dear all.

Please tell me, how to change instence status(SM51 colomn "Status"). I want to change from active to passive.

You need to deactivate the host to switch the status to Passive... as the documentation mention this does a soft stop but instead of shutting down it enters a passive mode.

To deactivate the host,

SM51 -> Select host -> Edit -> Change State -> Deactivate
