Require the best updated concepts to be implemented from Duet /  SharePoint integration.

Hi Sridhar,

If it requires SharePoint, then you could go with Duet Enterprise. Otherwise, if just Outlook integration, you should go with Gateway for Microsoft (GWM). In the future planning, GWM will connect O365 as well so this is the direction to go. Back to your questions.

1. DE offers Outlook integration, workflow approval could be sent to Outlook, in addition to SharePoint workflow. It link to Outlook via SharePoint Server.

2. User decision workflow such as PO approval could be sent to Outlook easily using provided templates in either DE or GWM.

3. With default template, PO approval process need to be triggered in SAP workflow engine. If you want to trigger this in Outlook or SharePoint, you need to implement a custom web service call from Outlook or SP to create a PO in SAP, the PO create event will trigger Approval process in SAP, and in turn, it will trigger approval process, email will be sent out to relevant approvers.
