About CVOM?

It seems the CVOM library is going to be a big part of SAP's BI visualization future. How does its use and functionality differ from developing extensions with the core Lumira SDK? Does it only make Lumira extensions portable to other BI tools? Where can I find detailed CVOM Lumira documentation?

Hi Gabriel,

CVOM standing for Common Visualization Object Model is the visualization library used accross the SAP Lumira Suite but also in other BI Products (Webi Intelligence, Explorer, IDT... to name a few).

With regards to CVOM / SDK / Viz Extensions, please refer to the attached link http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/vi01/en/lum_115_vp_en.pdf and revert if more clarifications are needed.
