SAP Fiori Approve Purchase Requisitions - Workitems not fetched in application

Hi Experts,

We have configured the Approve Purchase Requisitions Fiori application by referring to the Fiori installation guide.

We have installed the Fiori UI Add-ons on the Gateway server and the Integration Add-ons on a separate ECC server.

We are using a custom workflow task for the approval workflow. We have done the below configurations given in the document Task Gateway Service Configuration

  • Created system alias,
  • Activated the service,
  • Assigned software version to the service,
  • Added a new Scenario,
  • Assigned a consumer type for the scenario,
  • Assigned Role to the consumer type and scenario and
  • Set the Task Definition for scenario-this is a custom Task and not a standard one.

We have assigned the Approve PR application role to our user and we log in to Fiori with this user. This user also has some workflow tasks assigned in the ECC workflow inbox. But when we login to Fiori, the count on the Approve Purchase Requisitions tile in Fiori launchpad always shows 0 and we cannot see any tasks on opening the application. Also we do not see any error messages in the Google Chrome console window.

Can anyone point out if we are missing any configuration due to which we are not able to see the workitems in the Approve PR Fiori app?

Our Gateway server version is SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.31 SP7 and our ECC server version is SAP ECC 6.0 EhP6.
