HI,

1) How many message interfaces we need and why?

see below links to get more details

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/64db4daf9f30b4e10000000a11466f/frameset.htm

2) Why we dont need to configure sender HTTP adapter .

a) Why a sender comm channel is not needed

The Http Adapter resides on IS - Integrtion Engine, So we dont need the sender side Adaper, if sender side adapter is not requied then we dont need the comminication channel ,because no adapter, then why we need CC.

hey

1) How many message interfaces we need and why?

you need one interface which will ne synchronous,u dont need interface for RFC

2) Why we dont need to configure sender HTTP adapter

coz HTTP (and IDOC)sit on the ABAP stack and the IS can pull up their information from their itself, its for the same reason that we cant monitor HTTP(and IDOC) in adapter engine of RWB,coz RWB is based on java stack

a) Why a sender comm channel is not needed

sender comm channel and sender agreement is not required for HTTPand IDOC

Hey

if i m not wrong before SP16,the sender option for IDOC or HTTP waz grayed, but after that its not, actually XI might provide u with some additional functionalities in future and for that purpose u have that chapter in help.sap(as help.sap is not confined to a specific SP)

thanx

Hey

for security settings have a look at the following

you do all the security settings in the sender/receiver agreement(not in adapter).

On sender side

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b1/f29e7a56e18a439984a3c6630951d2/content.htm

On receiver side http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/5d/112d20f6ce6c46ba66afb98d278fbd/content.htm
