Out of limit control results entry restriction

Hi QM experts,

I have purchased materials that are checked at the entry  (goods input), nad they are assigned their respective control plans and control characteristics, tied with 01 control type.

I have such a requirement:

The quality supervisors think only they should be able to approve inspection lots with out of limit control characterics values.

For the normal entries and usage decisions, the QA technicians should be able to operate as usual, but for the ins.lots with outlier (out of limit) results, only the supervisors should be authorized to save the results and usage decision?

Is this possible with standart QM functionality/screens?

Is it possible thru customization or BADı/enhancement?

You should use automatic UD.  This saves the technicians from having to do the UD as well.  Then you only give authorization for making a UD to the quality supervisors.

There are several documents and discussion on automatic UD's.  Please do some research on this first and if you have questions, then get back to us.
