VB11 transaction and the result.

Hi  Experts,

Pls check the below screen shot for VB11 I have copied the old and new material .

Will it affect the sales order process?? If am creating sales order for x will it replaced by Y or not? And from where we can view the result of VB11 transaction?? I need to know all the

Substitute items listed in VB11- from where can we see it?

Hi Vijesh,

You can set up material determination such that you use up all the stock of material A and then you consume material B . Any shortage can be transferred to MRP for either material A or material B. You can define this by using substitution reasons.

Please specify your exact requirement.

Hi Vijesh,

Yes, whenever you will enter X, system will replace it with Y. During the order creation you can see the effect. (Attached screen shot)

For see all the materials, GO to VB12 --> Click at condition Info --> execute

This will provide you the list

Hi ,

Can we add multiple sub items for the same item?? While am trying to do the same, one message is showing “The condition is being processed in the current session”, the item is disappearing.

Hi Vijesh,

yes, you can. Once you´ve typed in first line ítem data, double click on material entered and you´ll be redirected to another screen where you´ll be able to keep on entering more alternative materials for your material.

It would be better for such type of queries, you test on your own in SAP, post here still if you need any assistance or facing issue.  Only then, you can develop your skill.
