add portal iview to nwbc(html)

Hi everyone,

we are using the nwbc(html version) and want to add a link in the nwbc to open portal (uwl ) in another popup.

can someone tell me if it is possible and how to do it?

user will access the nwbc first and by clicking the link, portal screen should be shown in another window(not embedding).

From PFCG create a "Web Address" Node, and specify the "Launch Application" option = S (i.e. In Standalone".

thanks for the quick response.

i created a folder under role menu(the root node), i add the web address node,

i tested, initially it still tries to open the url as embedded view. if i click that link, it is opened in a separate window. did i miss any setting here?

i will ask the abaper to develop a wda application for the navigation if no fix for this problem.

My bad ... My instruction above only works for NWBC for Destkop; it does NOT work for NWBC-for HTML (at least in my world with NWBC 4, PL13 & NW rel 7.3).

For it to launch a separate window, you probably have to resolve to using a wrapper e.g. via BSP using window.open command (assuming you're using MS Windows).
