Automatic Assignment of Project ID in SMCR

Hello,

I would like to have an automatic assignment of the PROJECT ID (Maintenance Project) in the Change Request (SMCR). We have the IBase information in our SMCR under block Details (under relationship). I have created a rule policy to fill out the project id according the IBase but this is not working.

What could be a solution?

My rule which is not working unfortunately is:

If  Reference IBase Equals
"1055" Then Set Project ID ( Set Project = "DEGE_M_01" )

Trying to default the project in SMCR , but unable to find it, Did it work for u ?

Hello Tanja,

You can define parameters for this at this path,

SPRO -> Customer Relationship Management -> UI Framework ->Technical Role Definition -> Define Navigation Bar Profile

Select the Navigation Bar Profile, and select Define Logical Links and provide the parameter(Transaction type) for SM-NC-DC. The project will now get selected automatically when you create the charm correction.
