How to use SAP delivered extractors(BI Content) in bi system

Hi all,

      I have tried to load he data from SAP system(components) using business content to SAP BW, after replicating the data source I have activated my data source in my bw source system.But I don't know what is procedure for next steps. Can anyone tell me the complete steps how to load data into my bw data target system.

     Find the attachment what I have done.

Hello,

Steps t upload the delta records:

ECC Side:

• T code- /LBWE: Select the data source and on right side there is an icon to select the delta mode...I mean

direct delta, queued delta etc.

Note: There are 4 delta update modes-direct, queued, serialised V3 update and unserialised.

• Once any record is changed , it comes to extraction queue automatically. Check the same(T code- /SMQ1).
• Schedule the V3 Job..once scheduled, records move to Delta queue (T code- /RSA7)

BW Side:

• On the BW side, Create an infopackage and DTP (but in this case -Delta DTP) the way you loaded the Init request in the target.

Hello,

As checked the above screen shot, you are done with Init.

Now you have to fetch the delta records from ECC to BI.

Proceed as per the below steps:

• Check the update mode of Delta in LBWE..i mean select whatever the mode of delta you want to select (For e.g- Queued delta).

• Schedule the V3 job, the records will move from Extraction Queue (/SMQ1) to  Delta Queue /RSA7.

• Finally, create the Delta DTP in BI side and load the delta records.

Hello,

Once datasource is relpicated and activated as seen in your attached screen shot,

create the data target  (infocube/DSO).Create the transformation between datasource and data target.

Finally,create the infopackage under Source system to laod the data till PSA. Create the DTP to laod the data till data target.

Here, under datasource is the infopackage created and under Data Transfer Processes DTP (Created betwwen datasource and data target).

Hi,

R/3 steps.

check the data source in LBWE ( if you have LO data source)

if not check the data source in the RSA5 and RSA6 (custom data source)

check the data in RSA3.

BW side

replicate the data source form ECC to sap bi

create the info package -> it will pull the data from source to PSA.

create the DSO,INFO CUBE

create the transformation form Data source to DSO and INFO CUBE.

create the DTP from source to target.

check the data in cube after executing the DTP.

develop the sample test query on top up target.

validate the data cube and query.

Hey Hityshi,

Create and infopackage for pulling the data record into your BW source system. Once the data comes into the PSA, you can then load it into further targets as per your requirements.

SCN won't train you about basic subjects.

please better search and help your self.

if you already trained then read your material.

Normally we will do like this way.

As of now your data source was in bw side.

After that  find your target cube or info object based on data source.

create transformations between your source and target.

create info pack and dtp, load the data.

for every  concept try to search on Google by using similar words.
