GLT2201 Balancing Field "Segment" in line item 001 not filled.

Dear All,

I have pass the entry t.Code:- PRRW, so i am receiving a error.. segment filed not filled.

I have already check cost center and profit center.. all link is ok, but error is same..

one person has been entry passed, but remaining persons error same..

I have attached one screen shot. please check...

Hi Jatin

You need to ensure that the balancing field profit center is also derived for posting lines, where no profit center can be passed, so for tax lines and cross company code clearing lines.

The notes 684659 and note 1085921 point 4.2 will help too.

You have checked everything. Cost center, profit center and Define Document Splitting Characteristics for general ledger accounting....  All okay and complete..

Go to HR Module and Fill Cost center and one more option Travel Privilege and fill the cost center, business area, company code and controlling area..

your problem must be resolved...

Hello

From my understanding the error message is displayed because of customizing settings in 'Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger Accounting'.

Here the field "Segment" is set as mandatory and the error will be issued if there is no segment found on FI documents to be created.
