Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot in sap

Hi,

I have create an inspection plan which have 2 task assign as below.

While i am going to do the result recording through T-code QA32 its give me an error Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot in sap.

Kindly suggest to resolve this issue.

Hi Hiren

As you having two task lists while creating inspection lot system not able to pick inspection, I think your inspection lot is created with CRTD status. Check it if yes then go to IL change and assign the inspection plan to IL by push button task list/spec. Then IL will be released and system allows you to enter the results.

Hi Hiren,

In the attached screen shot the material inspection plan has two task list with same usage i.e. 5 so, system doesn't know which inspection plan have to be assigned to particular inspection lot. Please check the status of inspection lot in CRTD. If CRTD is their go to transaction QA02 and assign tasklist manually then system will allow you to enter results.
