Hello,

I'm wonder if I can build pie chart by country, using Lumira from Excel spread sheet in following form:

Country              nb of blogs    nb of discussions     nb of documents

USA                       12                       1                          23

ITALY                      22                      2                          24

FRANCE                 4                        4                          15

I'm interested in pie chart by country like this:

Is it possible?

thanks

If you pivot the data, like so

You can get this:

You can also do something like:

Country     Media     Count

USA          Blog          12

USA          Disc          1

USA          Docs          23

France     Blog          22

France     Disc          2

France     Docs     24

...

....

now you have one keyfigure to aggregate.  You can group Media and /or countries in Lumira  if you do it this way as well.

But raw DATA in Excell is configurated like:

Country        Mounth           User               nb of blogs    nb of discussions     nb of documents

USA                2014.01         Kumar                  12                       1                          23

ITALY              2014.01         Michelle B             22                      2                          24

FRANCE          2014.02        John Talor               4                        4                          15

1. Does it mean that we can't use it DIRECTLY to build the pie chart?

2. Should we do the aggregation in excell each time or directly in LUMIRA?

On question #1 I don't see a way to do it directly in Lumira

On #2, you can copy your raw data, paste special, transpose in Excel and then get the chart that Karsten shows above.

Katya - The future Lumira versions will have more features - see

Copy and paste from the Clipboard will be nice

Thanks!

I hope so I'm exited to try using it for SMALL DATA projects (tiny/small enterprises), but I see current LUMIRA requires a lot of excell preparations, anyway I decided to use it as it is... hope it's good idea and it will not waste too much time
