Hi Arun,

I don't think using JDBC you can use SQL Expression.  What is the database you are using ? Is this a new creation or trying to modify existing report.

Hi

Instead of going in File -> Log On or Off Server

Try to click on File --New -- Expend create new connections and try to create a JDBC connection.

Also try to search 'HOW TO CREATE JDBC connection for CRYSTAL REPORTS' to find a SAP note.
