Help on NWDS

Hi All,

Can we connect to ESR and ID objects using NWDS ,i am able to connect to ESR objects but not able to see connection option to ID objects

in NWDS.

Hi ,

That depends on your PI version , connecting to ESR and ID from NWDS is available from PI 7.3

Hi Vidya Sagar,

Goto menu tab Windows-->Preferences-->PI Tools configuration-->Connections

Inside connection you can provide your PI server host name & port. Click on Apply & ok.

Now click on connect and give credentials to see ur ID objects.

Thanks Akshay for the reply now i am able to connect but when i try to create any integration flow or new systems i am getting an error saying 'Cannot create you are not authorised'.

Please check with your security or Basis team as I believe your ID does not have sufficient role to create any object.

Hi Vidya,

Yes you can connect ID to NWDS, but you can create only ICO, Comm channel and business system/service.
