for several batch, skip "post to insp. stock"

hi, experts

     Now I meet a situation: The material A for production receipt, most of all , we need post it to Insp. Stock first, after Inspetion results record, make Usage Decision, post to UU. But for several batch, the customer urgency, we need skip "post to  Insp. Stock", immediately post to UU, then delivery to customer by sales order and  delivery order, after this record inspection results.

     Could any experts give some advice?

you can either activate Quality for production order receipt or deactivate. you can not activate for half of batches and deactivate for the rest.

i dont know whether it fits for your scenario, but try inspection type 08. you can set inspection trigger based on movement types. this will help is in triggering the inspection lot for particular lot whereas you can move few lots with out quality inspection.

what you can do, you can deactivate the QM on production receipts for inspection type 04 in material master and add inspection type 08.

SPRO-Quality Management - Quality inspection - Inspection lot creation - inspection for good movement -select (Deactivate Quality Inspection for Movement type)

When ever you need to do the results recording and inspection/UD you can generate an inspection lot using the defined movement type (for example 311,411,412 etc are few) for inspection type 08.

Note-

if this is a workable solution for you, then better create a new movement type by coping 311 and activate inspection in that movement type rather activating on any standard movement type other wise it will keep on generating the inspection lots on material movements (where inspection type 08 is set in material master for that material and inspection is active for that movement type).

You can make the stock posting independent of the Usage decision.  So just post the stock to Unrestricted when you need to in the UD stock posting screen.

No!! This cannot be done. You either activate it or don't for a material.

Do you seek a solution where 'Post to inspection stock' can be adjusted as per the batches but not material codes? And I would love to know if there is a way out there to achieve this.

You can think of creating new material codes to make this but again, it depends a lot on the business and integration with other modules.

Creating another material code could not fit the situation. Because just a few special Batch(The customer urgency) should be post to UU first, then comback to record results.

As I earlier stated, this cannot be done.

You would, As Craig sir has also suggested, need to post this batch quantity out of QI and later you can do result recording and usage decision. That's best solution you can adopt. 

You need to remember and understand that once you set the indicator for 'Post to inspection stock' for a material, you cannot control the stock following your choice. You would get the Stock into QI.
